Application
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to plan and conduct isolation, de-isolation and restoration under the permit to work system for a gas industry work site in accordance with relevant legislation, industry standards, codes of practice and workplace procedures. It includes conducting energy source isolation, de-isolation and restoration under permit to work system for a gas industry work site and completing relevant documentation. The application of the skills and knowledge described in this unit may require a license or permit to practice in the workplace. Other conditions may apply under state and territory legislative and regulatory licencing requirements which must be confirmed prior to commencing this unit. |
